About

The people behind Clam.

Clam is built by a group of friends and former colleagues. We want people to be able to give AI agents access to their email without giving up control.

Ioannis Katakis

Ioannis Katakis

Co-founder

Ioannis has built and scaled software products at Workable and Blueground, working across customer-facing applications and the systems that power them. At Blueground, he took technical ownership of key product initiatives spanning marketplaces and payments, contributing across engineering, architecture, and product development.

At Clam, he focuses on a key challenge in making AI agents useful in practice: giving them access to sensitive tools without compromising security or user control.

Stratos Pavlakis

Stratos Pavlakis

Co-founder

Stratos is an engineering leader with over two decades of experience building products and leading teams. He holds a degree in Computer Science and an MSc in Advanced Information Systems. His career spans six years in fintech, product and technical leadership at Workable and Persado, and engineering leadership at Blueground, where he currently serves as CTO. He has always approached engineering across the full breadth of a product, connecting user experience, product strategy and the systems underneath.

He's building Clam around a clear conviction: AI agents potential depends on whether people can trust them with access to sensitive tools, especially email. Clam makes that access straightforward and secure, helping individuals and businesses gain more from AI while retaining control.
